Lille: your gateway to Europe

Founded in 1066, successively Flemish, Burgundian and Spanish before finally becoming French in 1668, Lille was titled "European Culture Capital" in 2004. At the centre of the Paris-London-Brussels triangle, Lille has a unique geographical position in Europe, located less than 350 km radius from the major economic capitals through modern and varied infrastructures (motorways, TGV, Eurostar, airport).
